Who We Are We & What We do

 We are parent carers just like you — each of us has a child or young person aged 0–25 with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND), and we all live in Leicester City.

As the official Parent Carer Forum for Leicester, we represent our community within the National Network of Parent Carer Forums (NNPCF). Our aim is to ensure that the voices of families are heard where decisions are made — locally, regionally, and nationally.

LCPCF works in partnership with:

• Leicester City Council (the Local Authority)
   
• Education, Health and Care (EHC) providers
   
• Third sector organisations
   

Together, we assess, develop, improve, and maintain services that support children and young people with SEND and their families.

We are here to listen, represent, and influence change — because we believe that services work best when they are shaped by the people who use them.
